GREENVILLE, N.C. – Wichita State secured its first conference series of the season with a 6-5 win at East Carolina Saturday afternoon.
Wichita State (12-10, 3-2) was able to scratch out a win despite surrendering 11 hits. The Pirates stranded 10 runners on base.
Alison (3-4) picked up the win in 4.1 innings. tossed 1.2 innings of relief and recorded her second save of the weekend, third this season, to hold off the Pirates.
continued her strong weekend, going 3-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBI. Her three hits tied a career high.
