TAMPA—The javelin crews highlighted competition at the AAC Outdoor Championships as the Wichita State track and field teams opened up the conference meet on Friday in Tampa at the USF Track and Field Stadium.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said it was a long hot day, but felt that his team had a very nice first day.
"On the men's side, we had some very good things happen," Rainbolt said. "On the women's side, some normal ups and downs, but so far we are feeling good about the form chart.
