Shockers Bury Golden Hurricane on Senior Night

WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State tied a season high with eight made three-pointers and had three players in double-figures to give the Shockers a 71-49 win on Senior Night over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

Wichita State (12-17, 5-11) sent its two seniors, Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Cesaria Ambrosio, out in style. The Shockers played their most complete game in conference action, shooting 46 percent overall and 8-of-21 from behind the line.

Seraphine Bastin registered a new career high with 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Playing in her final home game, Lozada-Cabbage notched her 13th game in double-figures with 13 points, while also grabbing six boards.
