Shockers beat Tulsa, continue AAC climb

Wichita State continues to climb the standings in the American Athletic Conference.

The Shockers beat Tulsa on Saturday, continuing their two-game winning streak, 79-68.

Leading the way was Markis Mcduffie, who scored 27 points on 11 for 20 shooting. He also added seven rebounds and one assist to his total.

Jaime Echenique also scored in double-figures for Wichita State. He had 16 points of his own.

Up next, WSU will next travel to East Carolina on Wednesday in search of the team’s first road win of the season. That game will be broadcasted on ESPNNEWS.
