COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Wichita State women concluded competition at the NCAA West Preliminaries Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

Destiny Masters was the lone Shocker on the final day of competition. She placed 15th in a tough high jump battle, clearing 1.81m/5'11.25" on third attempt, just missing out on advancing to the NCAA Championships by three spots. She will still compete in Eugene, Ore., though, as she already punched her ticket in the heptathlon.

On Thursday in the javelin, sophomore Jenna Kuepker capped her first season with the Shockers, placing 23rd with a throw of 46.
