MANHATTAN—The Shockers traveled to the campus of Kansas State to compete with the other two Division I track and field programs in the state of Kansas and came away with six individual event wins on Saturday in Ahearn Fieldhouse.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said it felt good to be back on the track.
"I certainly did feel like there were some really solid performances for what basically amounted to a season opener," Rainbolt said. "It certainly does cause me to look forward with strong hopes for the rest of the season.
