Shocker Signee Named McDonald’s All-American Game Nominee

WICHITA – Wichita State women's basketball signee Kiyleyah Parr was tabbed a 2024 McDonald's All-American Game nominee, the organization announced Tuesday.

The 5-5 guard from Waco, Texas is averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 assists per game in her senior season at La Vega High School.

In La Vega's 74-20 win over Robinson on Tuesday, Parr reached the 1,500 career points milestone.

A season ago, Parr was named the Texas 4A Player of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball, helping lead the Pirates to the 4A state title.

So far this season, Parr has been named to the Sandra Meadows Classic and Allen Hoopfest all-tournament teams and recorded a triple-double (16 points, 11 assists, 11 steals) in La Vega's Dec.
