WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State's Cameron Bye, Chuck Ingram, Payton Tolle and Brock Rodden were all named to Perfect Game's Preseason American Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, the publication announced Friday. Rodden was selected as the conference's Preseason Player of the Year.
The four selections are the most by any team in the conference. Rodden was ranked as the number four MLB Draft prospect in the class of 2023, while Ingram ranked eighth. Shocker freshman pitcher Austin Henry checked in as the number three prospect in the class of 2024, and Tolle clocked in at number nine.
