WICHITA—The Shocker track and field teams closed out the regular season with the Shocker Open on Friday inside of Cessna Stadium.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said it was a lowkey meet, but it was a good transition into championship season.
"We see a lot of good performances at this track meet," Rainbolt said. "That's just always how it goes. We had some really good performances.
"I feel like we have very nice teams that have big goals for the conference championships. We intend to go down there and compete hard and try to win it.
