WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State head cross country coach Kirk Hunter announced the 2023 meet schedule and the debut of the Shockers' new cross country course.
The team will open the season at home with the 75th Annual J.K. Gold Classic at Wichita State's brand-new Clapp Cross Country Course on Sept. 2. The women will race in the 5,000 meters, and the men will run the 6,000 meters to break in the new course.
The Shockers will run in three more regular-season races prior to the American Athletic Conference Championships in Greenville, N.
