WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State University baseball team will play exhibition games at Nebraska and Arkansas as part of its fall schedule, it was announced on Friday, Sept. 14.
Both games will be 14 innings in length and not count toward the team's 56-game regular season schedule due to an NCAA rule change announced last spring.
The Shockers will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11:30 a.m. CT at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park in Lincoln, Neb., before traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., to battle the Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.
