PALM COAST, Fla.- The Wichita State women's golf team completed the second round of the American Athletic Conference championship on Monday, with seniors Gavrilla Arya and Laine Evans holding spots in the top 20 heading into the final round.
Arya shot a 75 in the second round to move in a tie for 12th place while Evans shot 1-over par to jump ahead 13 places and is tied for 15th. Evans came up with two bogeys and two birdies in the first five holes, coming up with two birdies on the 11th and 12th green.
