LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Freshman Lucas Scheufler delivered the best performance of his young career in a fifth place finish, as the Wichita State men's golf team wrapped up the Little Rock Invitational on Tuesday afternoon in 12th place.
It was the final tournament of the fall for the Shockers, who return to action the first week of March at Auburn's Tiger Invitational.
Scheufler (74-69-70—213, -3) gained steam over the course of two days of play at Chenal Country Club, compiling the top two individual round scores of the tournament for Wichita State.
