Wichita, Kan. — Building on the inspiring momentum sparked by Shane and Kianne Prill, Rick and Barbara Hemphill have made a heartfelt and impactful investment in both Wichita State Athletics and our community. The Hemphill's have purchased an additional 50 season tickets for the 2025-26 Wichita State Men's Basketball season and are donating them to community organizations including United Way affiliates, veterans and Stand Together, ensuring even more people will get to experience the thrill of Shocker basketball at Charles Koch Arena.
The donation will allow hundreds of mentor-mentee pairs to enjoy unforgettable nights together during the season — strengthening bonds, fostering inspiration, and connecting local youth to the energy of college athletics.
