RH: Wichita State Turns Match With Second Set Rally

What seemed like drama the Shockers described matter-of-factly. No worries. Put the ball in play and count on talent.

"We kind looked at each other and were like 'Hey, let's do this," said outside hitter Brylee Kelly said. "We did it."

Wichita State trailed Temple 19-14 in set 2. After a timeout, the Shockers went on a 6-1 run to tie it and won the set 25-21. That win propelled them to a sweep (25-13, 25-21, 25-15) of the Owls on Friday at Koch Arena.

The Shockers (6-6, 1-0 American Athletic Conference) didn't need magic words or strategy to complete that 11-2 burst.
