Bryce (Schroeder) Ray estimates she put 30,000 miles on her white Toyota Camry in 2022 as she golfed around the United States.
Every mile, every dollar, every podcast is worthwhile.
"It's a blast," she said. "It's a lot of growing up and a lot of independence. You have to be willing to sacrifice. But the competition and being able to play every week, it's just mind-blowing. I love the competition."
Ray, who golfed at Wichita State from 2012-2016, plays on the Epson and Womens All Pro tours. In her most recent tournament, she finished first among professional golfers (second overall) in the Utah Women's Open in Lehi, Utah.
