Roz Hutchinson is a self-described diehard Wichita State women's basketball fan. She is also a big fan of Wichita musician Jenny Wood, who recovered from a car wreck at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, where Hutchinson works as director of communications.
As she watched Wood recover from the life-threatening injuries, suffered in May, she saw a connection between basketball and Wood's music, which focuses on anti-bullying and encouraging children.
"I was so amazed," Hutchinson said. "She is such a soft-spoken and passionate, passionate young woman when it comes to serving as an advocate for children.
