Wichita State’s practice gym is full of volleyball players, which is just as coach Chris Lamb wants it. Even better, it’s full of experienced players who are heavily favored to defend their Missouri Valley Conference title.
“It’s just a very intense atmosphere right now,” redshirt sophomore setter Reagan Peare said. “Today we were scrimmaging and both sides of the net were the most-talented its been since I’ve been here. Both sides can hang. There’s long rallies. Everyone knows it’s important that you come and play well and show the coaches what you’ve got.”
MVC coaches are well aware of the talents on Lamb’s 25-person roster.
