WICHITA, Kan. - For the second straight week and third time this season Addison Barnard has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA National Player of the Week.
Barnard and Oklahoma's Jocelyn Alo are the only players to earn National Player of the Week honors three times this season.
D1 Softball also named Barnard its Player of the Week on Tuesday, making it the third time the sophomore has earned the top weekly honor from D1 Softball. The American Athletic Conference named the Beatrice, Neb., native its Player of the Week for a fourth time this season on Monday.
