HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Something about Guyan Golf & Country Club agrees with Wichita State's Dawson Lewis.
Lewis -- a sophomore from Flower Mound, Texas -- closed out his best 54-hole score as a Shocker on Tuesday to secure a top-20 finish at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.
Lewis' raw tally (68-72-71 -- 211) shaved 11 strokes off his previous 54-hole low, set last March at the GCU Invitational (222). He was 2-under-par for the tournament and ended in a tie for 20th.
His only loftier finish came in last year's Joe Feaganes when he tied for 14th.
