WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State junior Lauren Mills has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced Monday afternoon.
In two games last week, Mills was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with three home runs and six RBI. She recorded her first multi-home run game of the season with two against Southeast Missouri on March 13. In the matchup at Missouri State on March 9, Mills launched her first pinch-hit home run of the season.
This is the first career weekly honor for Mills.
A busy week awaits Wichita State, as they travel to Omaha to face the Mavericks on Wednesday and then head south for the OSU Mizuno Classic in Stillwater, Okla.
