RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif.- The Wichita State men's golf team finished the first round of The Farms Invitational. Rounds two and three will be completed on Tuesday, with the middle of round two stopping due to darkness on the course.
The Shockers are in 9th place, shooting 313 as a team in the first round. Senior Yannik Emmert leads Wichita State with a tie for 13th place overall. Emmert is on track for his eighth top-20 career finish and third this season.
Coming up with two birdies and shooting for par through the first six holes, Emmert put himself in a tie for first.
