Men's Golf Battles Elements at Chambers Bay

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The combination of difficult weather conditions and an already challenging course produced high scores across the board at the Redhawk Invitational on Tuesday. The Shockers finished 16th out of 23 participants, as no team finished the day under par.

What was originally slated to be a 54-hole invitational was cut down to a single day of 18 holes due to rain and wind that hammered the area on Monday and Tuesday. The Shockers were holding steady in a tie for third on Monday when play was canceled for the day and all scores were forfeited.
