Wichita State Men's Basketball teams up with Coaching for Literacy in the #Fight4Literacy
Funds raised will give the power of reading to kids at Fundamental Learning Center
WICHITA, Kan. -- Kids all across the state of Kansas are in the fight of their lives. A fight to read proficiently by the end of third grade. In fact, 63 percent of fourth-grade students in Kansas are not reading at the proficient level.
Because life success is directly tied to the ability to read proficiently by the end of third grade, the futures of local kids are on the line every year.
