WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State junior guard Mariah McCully was named a Third Team All-Conference performer Friday morning by the American Athletic Conference.
McCully, a Grand Rapids, Mich., native leads Wichita State in scoring (12.9 ppg), and steals (55) in her first season donning the Black & Yellow. She has appeared in 24 games, while making 14 starts, as a junior college transfer.
Her two 20-point outings also top the team, including a season-high 25 points vs. Eastern Michigan on Dec. 7.
She has a team-leading 18 games of 10 or more points this season, including a streak of 17 in a row at one point this season.
