PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - Blake Lorenz continued his recent run of strong performances with a top-15 finish as the Wichita State men's golf team tied for 11th at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate at True Blue Golf Club.
Troy ran away with the team title at 24-under par, 22 strokes better than second place Delaware. Jared Nelson of UConn (68-69-70--207, -9) held off Troy's Jake Springer by a single stroke for individual medalist honors.
The Shockers (294-290-293--877, +13) put together three consistent days to end in the midst of a tightly packed middle of the field.
