EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Emilio Arellano Llamas carded his second consecutive top-10 finish to lead Wichita State to a fifth-place team result at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
In a tournament filled with low scores, the Shockers posted rounds of 275, 284, and 281 for an 840 (-12) team total. The score tied the 10th-best 54-hole mark in the history of Wichita State men's golf. The Shockers finished even par or better in all three rounds.
Idaho won the event with an impressive 821 (-31), finishing 12 strokes clear of second place.
