WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State sophomore setter Kayce Litzau was named to the American Weekly Honor Roll after a pair of career performances vs. East Carolina and Cincinnati, the AAC announced Monday.
Litzau guided the Shockers to two come-from-behind wins, both in five sets. The versatile sophomore set a new career-high in kills both matches, picking up six on Friday night against East Carolina and then topping that with seven more on Sunday against Cincinnati, including the clinching kill in the fourth set.
She handed out 54 assists in Friday's comeback win against the Pirates, then added 43 more against the Bearcats for a total of 97 on the weekend.
