WICHITA—Ben Flowers and Winny Koskei were both named American Athletic Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the Wichita State men's and women's cross country teams.
Flowers and Koskei claimed individual titles at the JK Gold Classic on Saturday. Flowers won the men's 6K with a time of 18:38.2, and Koskei claimed the women's crown in the 4K race with a time of 13:48.5.
Koskei is a returning All-American and is no stranger to conference recognition. She was named the AAC Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2018.
