WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State head softball coach Kristi Bredbenner dipped into the transfer portal and landed a familiar American Athletic Conference face in Houston transfer, Arielle James.
James has one season of eligibility remaining after three standout seasons for the Cougars. She started every game of her Houston career at second base and is a career .364 hitter with 10 home runs, 39 doubles, 79 RBI and 118 runs scored.
The Moore, Okla., native was a three-time All-Conference selection, including two first team honors and was also a two-time NFCA All-Region pick.
