Linda Hargrove, who has junior college, college, professional and Olympic coaching experience will be on the sidelines again for the Shockers for the remainder of the 2016-17 season, being named Head Coach on Jan. 22 in a press release and announced today in a press conference.
Hargrove coached the Shockers to 113 wins from 1989-98 as the then-winningest Shocker women's basketball head coach before moving on to the professional ranks as a head coach, then general manager.
Hargrove, a Udall native who resides in Derby, has 36 seasons of coaching experience. She was also an assistant coach on the 1992 Olympic team that won a Bronze Medal in Barcelona.
