WICHITA, Kan. – The Goblins defeated the Ghouls 5-2 in the fourth annual SCREAMage game at Eck Stadium.
Captain Jack Sparrow (Jordan Boyer) doubled past a Minion to start the game and scored on a single by HS Quarterback star Connor Lungwitz (Mike Steele) to give the Ghouls a 1-0 lead. Pumpkin (Gunnar Troutwine) tripled and rolled all the way home until being thrown out by a rootin-tootin cowboy (Tyler Davis).
Steve Urkel (Alex Jackson) pitch a scoreless top half of the second. In the bottom of the inning, Napolean Dynamite (Tommy Barnhouse) doubled to left past Chewbacca (Sam Goodwin) and scored on a single from the Duck (Logan Easley) to tie the game at 1-1.
