WICHITA, Kan. – Senior All-American Marius Frosa of the men's tennis team had a stellar week in both singles and doubles play to earn his first honor as American Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
The senior from Galati, Romania, who was recently ranked No. 107 in singles, went a combined 4-0 this week between singles and doubles. He picked up an upset victory alongside his teammate Murkel Dellien over No 10 Will Davies and Oliver Okonkwo of Iowa on Sunday. He also never lost a set in singles over the course of the week, winning his two singles matches by a combined score of 24-10.
