CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wichita State track and field claims four event titles on the final day of the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships as the Shocker men recorded a runner-up team finish, and the women took sixth Saturday at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center.
Sophomores Josh Parrish and Jason Parrish swept the men's hurdles, and Farrah Miller and Yared Kidane swept the 800-meter titles for the Shockers to highlight day three.
Josh Parrish won the first crown of the day, setting a new facility record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.
