WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State volleyball program announced Wednesday the addition of volunteer assistant Katie (Reilly) Zimmerman to the coaching staff for the 2022 season.
Zimmerman succeeds Nick Serowski, who accepted a coaching position at North Texas.
Zimmerman (then Reilly) starred as a middle blocker at Wichita State from 2012-15, helping the Shockers to three Missouri Valley Conference championships, three NCAA tournament appearances, four 20-win seasons, and a run to the Sweet 16 in 2012. As a three-year starter, Zimmerman earned AVCA All-American, All-Region, and All-Conference honors as a senior in 2015.
