Etienne Scores 29; Shockers Surge Past Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. -- Tyson Etienne scored a career-high 29 points on Saturday to lead Wichita State to an 83-79 win at Ole Miss.

WSU (6-2) notched its sixth-straight win and improved to 3-0 in true road games under interim head coach Isaac Brown.

Etienne hit a season-high five three-point field goals on 10 tries and knocked down 8-of-9 at the foul line.

He did some of his best work in crunch time with 19 second-half points. The Shockers trailed 69-62 with less than 8:00 to play but outscored the home team 16-6 over the next six minutes to take control.
