Strong performances against UCF and Tulane earned Wichita State guard Dexter Dennis a spot on this week's American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll.
Dennis – 6-foot-5 sophomore from Baker, La. -- scored a career-high 21 points to lead Wichita State past Tulane on Sunday. For the week he averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steal in two Shocker wins. He was 11-of-16 from the field (.733), including 5-of-8 from distance, and posted a 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.
It's the third weekly honor roll nod for Dennis, who is averaging 8.7 points and 5.
