WICHITA, Kan. – Senior All-American Murkel Dellien is slated to play for his home country Bolivia as they take on the Dominican Republic in the Davis Cup, Friday March 6 and Saturday March 7, at the Club De Tenis Santa Cruz in Bolivia.
The Davis Cup is a premier international tennis tournament that is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) where teams from around the world compete in a knock-out format. Matches are played in a team vs. team format much similar to the ITA college format that Dellien is used to playing in with the Wichita State men's tennis team.
