CINCINNATI – Cincinnati outrebounded Wichita State by 15 and only committed six turnovers to defeat Wichita State, 82-54, Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena.
Wichita State (10-13, 3-7) also allowed the Bearcats to shoot 53 percent from the field, despite only taking 11 three-pointers and making three. Cincinnati was able to convert at the charity stripe, hitting 17-of-25.
Cincinnati (15-8, 7-3) won the battle of the boards, 41-26, and dished out 19 assists on its 31 made field goals.
Trajata Colbert collected her second straight game in double-digits with a team-high 11 points.
