WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State Cheer team took home top honors in two categories this past weekend at UCA College Cheer Nationals bringing home fourth place in the traditional routine and sixth place in their game day routine.
In front of an energized crowd at ESPN Wide World of Sports the team performed a flawless game day routine with zero deductions on Friday night putting them just 3 points behind the first-place team.
"It was our first time ever competing in the game day portion of a national competition. We went out, represented ourselves and the university well.
