Bearcats break Shockers’ 4-game winning streak

Cincinnati’s Jarron Cumberland single-handedly held off Wichita State’s late second-round push, breaking the Shockers’ four-game winning streak.

Cumberland, a contender for American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, showed out with 27 points. He scored the majority of his points from beyond the arc. Cumblerland shot better than 60 percent from three.
