WICHITA, Kan. – Alex Segal, a left-handed pitcher from Scottsdale, Ariz., has signed with Wichita State in the spring signing period, Head Coach Todd Butler announced on April 13.
"We are excited to have left-handed pitcher Alex Segal join our program for the 2017 season," Butler said. "Alex plays at one of the premier programs in the country at Chaparral High School in Arizona. Alex has a great upside for the future and he will really complement the rest of our recruiting class."
Segal, a 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher from Scottsdale, Ariz., is halfway through his senior season at Chaparral High School and has a 3-1 record with a 1.
