The Shockers are coming off their first-ever series win against Cincinnati over the weekend, going 2-1 in the Queen City after previously having just two wins in 13 tries against the Bearcats. Wichita State nearly completed the sweep on Sunday, but let an 8-1 lead slip away over the late innings as Cincinnati scored two runs in the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth innings to walk off the Shockers and end WSU's six-game winning streak.
