HOUSTON – Wichita State's Ron Baker scored 14 points and snagged six rebounds to help the West squad defeat the East, 89-85, in the 2016 NABC Reese's College All-Star Game, Friday evening at NRG Arena.
Fred VanVleet was also selected for the West squad. He joined the team on the bench but chose not to participate in game action.
Baker hit 5-of-11 shots from the field, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, and dished out two assists.
Baker drilled a pair of first-half treys. The second came at the 4:37-mark and gave the West squad a 36-34 lead.
