Not many people realize Grant Sherfield, a unanimous four-star basketball recruit in the class of 2019, is originally from Wichita.
That’s about to change after Sherfield, a 6-foot-2 guard ranked as the No. 110 prospect by Rivals, announced Tuesday that he has committed to play for Wichita State, choosing the Shockers and coach Gregg Marshall over Minnesota and Wake Forest, among others.
