WMU’s run game has been excellent, as three of our running backs, Levante Bellamy, Jamauri Bogan and Jarvion Franklin, are in the top ten for MAC rushers. One of the biggest questions was what receivers were going to rise up for WMU? It is safe to say that the future's looking bright with early success from a young receiving core.
When talking about these young receivers, it is hard not to mention D’Wayne Eskridge, the sophomore from Bluffton, Ind., Eskridge had a quiet start this season but has put together a string of nice games lately. In the first two games of the season, he only had five receptions for a total of 54 yards.
