CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan women's tennis team swept the Mid-American Conference weekly awards with Lindsey Zieglar and Valeriya Monko earning MAC Women's Doubles Team of the Week, while Monko was awarded MAC Women's Singles Player of the Week.
Zieglar and Monko went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles to help the Broncos earn three road wins. Against Youngstown State they earned a quick 6-0 win over Lili MInich and Yesenila Ovcharova. Against Cleveland State they won 6-4 over Bethany Yauch and Sima Heren and in the win over St. Bonaventure they earned a 6-3 victory over Isabella Venter and Anastasia Gubanova.
