KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan women's tennis team defeated Oakland 5-2. The win gives the Broncos their first win of the spring schedule.
"I thought we played a little tentative to start but at the big moments we played good tennis." Stated head coach Ryan Tomlinson, "It was good to get out and compete again. We have some things to work on this week and we will work hard to get them fixed."
The doubles point went down to the wire with Denise Azcui and Valeria Riegraf rallying to win the final two points to secure the match victory and the doubles point for the Broncos.
