Women's Tennis Splits with Cleveland State and St. Bonaventure

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Western Michigan women's tennis team split its double-header against Cleveland State and St. Bonaventure on Saturday with a 5-2 loss to the host Vikings and a 7-0 over the Bonnies.

The Broncos (3-2) opened the morning against CSU. The Vikings took the doubles points after wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Selma Tounsi and Bethany Yauch defeated WMU's Ana Guadiana and Karin Hamilton, 6-3, to put Cleveland State up 1-0. Western Michigan tied up the doubles action with a win at No. 3 by Lindsey Zieglar and Maya Perkucin, defeating Oihane Vicario and Filippa Fronger 7-6 (7-4).
