KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team opened up the 2024 portion of its schedule with an emphatic 7-0 win over Ferris State at West Hills Athletic Club.
The win was first for interim head coach Jimmy Beckwith.
The Broncos earned the doubles point with wins of 6-1 and 6-2 at No. 2 and No. 3. Karin Hamilton and Audrey Smitek dispatched Parker Nolan and Maria Hernandez Ferrer at No. 2, while Polina Khotko and Ariane Souligny earned the win at No. 2 over Aimee Reynoso Cupido and Kennedy Dumas.
